How long does it take back pain to go away?

I have been going to a chiropractor for 4 weeks now. I went because my hands would tingle. I knew I had a pinched nerve. It didn’t hurt it just bothered me. My hands have stopped tingling but my back (between my shoulder blades) is achey and bothers me. I am just getting fatigued I guess because I want to feel well. I work at Wal-Mart so I do have to bend and lift a lot. I was just wondering if anyone knows how long it takes for your back to get to feeling better?

How can I relieve my upper back pain?

I’m 26 weeks pregnant and the part of my back that hurts the most is up between my shoulder blades. I obviously can’t do normal exercises, I haven’t been able to stretch it out, and I have no one here to massage it out for me. Would doing wall push-ups help? Any other suggestions?
If taking a bath would work, I wouldn’t be asking.
Sleeping with a hot pad would only work if I could sleep on my back–pregnant here, people.
Wall push-ups are bad? Funny, they were recommended by a chiropractor for similar pain a few years ago.
It’s not bad enough to need injections or surgery, it’s just uncomfortable and irritating.
Thanks for a lot of useless answers.

I was stretching my arms (maybe too much) and I suddenly got a pain in the upper back (between the shoulder blades). It is quite painful when I try to take a deep breath, or carry something relatively heavy. What can I do about it?
(Of course, if it persists, I’ll see a doctor)
