I am a 45 year old girl and have experienced Consistent discomfort in my correct reduce (and often upper) ribcage. The soreness “travels”. Actually I would not phone it ache, occasionally it feels as even though there is strain from within pushing outward against the ribs. Like a wadded sock under my ribs! The discomfort has been present for more than a year, but in no way so undesirable or unpleasant that I wanted to immediately seek out assist. Nevertheless, living daily w/discomfort is increasing old! It at instances almost seems that it could be a muscular or skeletal problem. Other than the discomfort, I’ve seasoned no difficulties. My appetite is Excellent, I typically really feel good everyday and am exercising day-to-day. I have normal bms and no sign of liver disfunction, such as jaundice, discolored urine and so forth. I have never had an ?ttack”like the gallbladder can result in and do not suffer nausea or upset after any variety of foods. Any person heard of this kind of an ailmant! I certain would like to have some ideas prior to submitting myself to several, unecessary tests!

Costochondiritis, irritation of the cartilage of the rib cage, is a feasible trigger of sore ribs. Often observed in athletes, costochondritis can lead to signs and symptoms such as:
Agonizing ribs
Ribs tender to the touch
Soreness when taking a deep breath
There are other causes of chest and rib ache, and it is essential to see a medical professional if you expereince these symptoms. If the diagnosis of costochondritis is made, therapy may consist of medicines to lessen inflammation.

Hello, I have been possessing altering signs more than the past 2 months and it is practically not possible to get a diagnosis. I’ve had endoscopy, colonoscopy, blood tests. The pain began in my left side decrease, It was an ache I could really feel it when I would bend down. I had a quite swollen vein in my left testicle that morning. The swollen vein went away that day, but the ache lasted for a month. I ultimately went to the medical doctor and had a ct scan carried out, every thing was standard except 2mm achievable kidney stone in left kidney, which “should not be triggering any discomfort.”

Nicely now for the previous month the correct side of my ribs has a bad pain when I lean back, I also feel nauseous throughout the day (I am not positive if this rib pain is creating me really feel unwell, but I have no desire to puke.) Had a kidney ultrasound and gallbladder ultrasound, all okay.

Often I will wake up in the middle of the night and feel like my left leg is Really weak, challenging to make clear. There is a thing going on, but I cannot come across the answer. I practically feel a numbness senstation somtimes. I do not have significantly anxiety, mentally I really feel fine.. though the last doctor kept saying it was anxiousness. Properly if that is accurate, why can I not even throw a ball without having this shooting discomfort below my right rib? Where do I go from here?

Could there be some sort of blood clot somewhere in my body creating this? What tests should I have completed?

I have no concepts on your situation, but if you try out this therapy for kidney stones, the apple cider vinegar has numerous nutritional advantages. Are you eating a balanced diet program and not overdoing any one item?

In Herbs of the Earth by Mary Carse, she lists underneath stones and gravel in the urinary program pertaining to kidneys and the bladder, that these are uncommon in which apple cider or vinegar are a staple of the diet. (I note that this reference does not state regardless of whether the vinegar requirements to be apple cider vinegar, but the manufacturers in the health meals aisle are less processed.

The woman I work for now, says her daughter passed a kidney stone (identified by a medical doctor) right after taking apple cider vinegar. The Braggs brand located in the health food aisle suggests to take two teaspoons in water with honey three occasions every day and there is yet another organic brand known as Spectrum.


In In Apple Cider Vinegar Wellbeing Program by the Braggs 1985 or 34th printing, it states on p 21:

A big amount of kidney stones are of the sort that can be dissolved with cider vinegar.

Back pain normally gets resolved within weeks but the pain undergone by the patients is unbearable. Conservational treatments are normally taken for lower back pain since it is temporary and slowly resolve with time.

For a speedy recovery, proper treatment has to be started only after knowing the exact cause for its occurrence. The main reason for lower back pain can be Lumbar muscle strain and ruptured disc or herniated disc. Disc damage in the inter vertebral column leads to Discogenic lower back pain and this could be diagnosed using discogram. But this in no way relates to herniated disc where the back gets pressed to the nerve. Aging population come across Spinal stenosis as the spinal canal is thinned. This may happen due to arthritis or any other specific conditions. Any joint ache is termed arthritis and particularly on the spine creates lower back pain.

Spinal stenosis causes back pain in the aging population. As we age, the spinal canal can become constricted, due in part to arthritis and other conditions. If the spinal canal becomes too tight, back pain can be the result. Spondylolisthesis occurs due to the instability of adjacent vertebras which start to slip. This results in unstable spine and ends in lower back pain. Osteoporosis Leads to many orthopedic complications and is mostly referred as the compression fractures of vertebral column. Diagnosis is helped by blood tests and scan but not to a greater extent and X rays are not advised due to high radiation. Muscle strain heals quickly as the blood supply is good and carries the needed nutrients with proteins for healing. Bed rest is advised for severe pain but not for two days or more. Hot or cold application eases the pain to a certain extent. People who are active with good physique can avoid low backache, as there will be regular stretch of muscles. The supporting muscles of the spine are extensors, which include back and gluteal muscles, Flexors, which comprise abdominal and iliopsoas muscles and the last one is the side muscles also called as rotators. It’s also referred as Obliques .Not all these muscles are used in day-to-day life and they get weakened with age.

Lower backache exercise program should combine stretching and strengthening exercises with aerobics. Common symptoms of lower back pain for people less than 60 year old will be pain in legs or numbness and pain during movement and sitting. Older people will have symptoms like increase of back pain during the morning g and evening periods with stiffness in the back and. pain is also felt downwards in the legs. Psychological reasons play main role on pain levels and so person’s attitude and situation plays an active role.

Neurological symptoms like weakening, feeling of numbness or tingling sometimes accompany pain. Immediate attention is needed if there is a dysfunction in bladder or in the bowel and weakness or numbness in the groin.

Precautions like avoidance of stress and maintaining proper weight with regular exercise help in eliminating the problems of lower back pain.

Chronic back pain

Typically persists longer than the expected healing time for the identified cause of the pain—such as low back surgery—or persists after the identified cause of the pain has been treated.


This is a long-term degeneration of the joints, which makes them less able to withstand stress. It’s a wear-and-tear problem that affects most of us as we get older and which can give rise to pain in some cases.

Exercises to minimize problems with back pain

You can minimize problems with back pain with exercises that make the muscles in your back, stomach, hips and thighs strong and flexible. Some people keep in good physical condition by being active in recreational activities like running, walking, bike riding, and swimming. In addition to these conditioning activities, there are specific exercises that are directed toward strengthening and stretching your back, stomach, hip and thigh muscles.


Could upper back pain be associated with scoliosis?

I have constant pain on my left side upper back. It seems to mostly be around my shoulder blade, almost under it. My neck also gets sore. My entire back can get pretty painful as well, but it’s not constant. I find it diffacult to sit with my back straight without slouching for a long period, especially if I am not thinking about it. My left side of my body seems to be uneven with my right, like its lower. It’s like my ribs and my hip are trying to touch. I have suspected that this could be scoliosis, but I would like other opinions to see if it is likly scoliosis or maybe something else. Also, if it makes any difference, I am a 22 yr old female and have had two children. I became pregnant 5 months after the birth of my first child, and I had a lot of pain during pregnancy. I have visited a chiropractor and taken pain medication but none of this seems to help for any long period of time. thanks a lot for any help you can give.
Also wanted to add that this has been going on for at least one year, so I know it isn’t just a pulled muscle or anything like that. The chiropractor wasnt able to determine anything for sure since I was pregnant when I went
