I feel you have to wait a bit longer before the test shows positive, if you are pregnant. I would wait just a small longer, and check once more.

Excellent Luck

Query by Sorry for my poor English…: John Steinbeck – “The Pearl” What does the following sentence indicate?

What does the following sentence suggest?

” …, she could arch her back in youngster discomfort with hardly a cry.”

This sentence is from the Chapter 1 of “The Pearl” written by John Steinbeck.

What movement is “arch her back” like?

And, what does “kid discomfort” suggest?
Pain of youngster birth? Ache of her child, Coyotito, who was stung by a scorpion?

English is “not” my native language, so please aid me, and, I would be so glad if you could solution this query.

For reference, I create important sentences and the paragraph below…

Coyotito (her infant) shook the rope and the scorpion fell…

Kino’s (her husband’s) hand leaped to catch it, but it fell previous his fingers, fell on the baby’s shoulder, landed and struck…

Coyotito screamed with pain in his box (hanging box)…

Juana (baby’s mother) had the infant in her arms now. She located the puncture with redness starting from it previously. She place her lips down over the puncture and sucked difficult and spat and sucked once more while Coyotito screamed…

… the stinging soreness of the bite was going away. Coyotito’s screams turned to moans…

[Kino had wondered frequently at the iron in his affected person, fragile wife. She, who was obedient and respectful and cheerful and patient, she could arch her back in child ache with hardly a cry. She could stand fatigue and hunger almost far better than Kino himself. In the canoe she was like a strong man. And now she did a most surprising thing.]

Thank you for studying, and I’ll be waiting for your kind solution!

It implies she can take care of the pain of birth effectively…If you do not have to study this book, then I recommend you stop reading through it. It is a horrible, horrible book not worth reading through. If you have to read a guide by John Steinback then I would read of Mice and Males…it is a bit sad in the end but it is nonetheless a excellent guide at least
