Query by tracis327: What’s wrong with my hands? The sides of my hands from thumb to about the wrist harm so badly.?

Each hands are bothering me, they are very tender to the touch. If I even bump them towards anything, it hurts badly. It virtually feels as if they are bruised or have been smashed with some thing. Quite, really, tender and really weak now. I never know if it is a problem with the joints or if it may possibly be arthritis or what. None of my other fingers hurt, just seems to be along the sides of the thumbs and the puffy component underneath the thumbs (on the palm). Any suggestions?

Could be carpal tunnel or arthritis each of which can be cured with medicine and therapy early on. You must see your medical doctor for diagnoses. You don’t want to finish up letting it go too extended and lose the use of your thumbs. Great luck, hope this aided. Claire

The medical doctor stated Scoliosis does not lead to back pain… then why does it hurt so badly?

Question by Kiki K: The doctor mentioned Scoliosis doesn’t result in back discomfort… then why does it hurt so badly?

I have been diagnosed with scoliosis.
I got an appointment since I have quite poor pains in my back, especially in my lower back, and my left side ribs hurt actually poor, and in no way my proper side.
I asked the physician, and he said “Scoliosis doesn’t cause back pain”.
Then why do I feel so a lot discomfort in the places my spine is twisted?
What can I do to quit the pain, or lessen the intensity?
Please help, I am so confused.
This is an xray. 😀
Oh, I forgot to add, my left ribs are sticking out strangely in front, and my correct ribs are regular.
Occasionally it helps make it a small more difficult to run, or breathe heavily.

Stop carrying heavy book backpacks if you are doing that. Stop undertaking any motion that is heavier to one side than the other.

The medical doctor ought to be trying to find out what is causing the pain. If it is not from the scoliosis, then what IS creating it. Any pain over the waist can be a sign of a heart attack. Or it could be just “stitches” or rib muscles getting pulled soon after working out (like operating). Left side is your abdomen and pancreas also.
