Question by Persephone’s Charm: Stomach difficulties – please help?

I’ve been obtaining a whole lot of discomfort in my abdomen because yesterday. It has been like this. First of all, I truly feel hungry, but I never feel like eating, even bread toast. Whatever I consume soon goes sour in my abdomen, and i begin burping quickly after, and the sour taste gives me a nauseous feeling. The nausea has been there continuously considering that the discomfort commenced. I truly feel extremely tired and thirsty and I have fever as properly. Although I am taking medicines for it, the nausea and discomfort doesn’t look to go away. What ought to I do to truly feel a tiny greater?

you can probably ask ur doc to give u a different medicine. sounds like u perhaps have waste backed up in ur system. have u sued the toilet? normally when i feel like that i drink aloe vera or some bitter thing and flush my system and then i feel nice and empty again. try to avoid foods that are not whole wheat or toilet friendly during this stomach ache as u will only feel worse…so the donuts and breaDS etc not a good idea.

Have you been to doctor for it? If you have try having hots baths. Or do you have a heat pack you could put in the microwave and leave that on your stomach. Bread would be the best thing to eat. And drink plenty of water.

    You have a virus/stomach infection.

Sleep as much as you can (sleep is when your body repairs itself and fights infection best), drink lots of fluids, the key to relieving stomach discomfort and increasing your strength to fight off the bug is eating easily digestible foods such crackers, rice, stewed apple and broths.

You can reduce the amount of acid your stomach produced (relieve the burping) by eating something with peppermint oil in it, such as peppermint creams (do not drink peppermint oil). If you have constipation as suggested in another answer, drink a tablespoon of sunflower oil and that will sort that out.

If you still feel the same after 5 days of doing the above then something more serious is goin on and you need to see a doctor.

possible peptic ulcer.. or it might be duodenal ulcer too! do you feel stomach cramping or anything similar to that? is it radiating down to your lower back? stomachaches are quite difficult to tell which since some stomach diseases has similar symptoms and they mimic each others “pain” too. it would be a big relief if you’ll seek a doctor right away to examine and diagnose you, they will give you pain medication and antibiotics too.

as my advice for home management:
don’t drink too much caffeine (tea, coffee etc) cause if you might have ulcer that would injure your stomach more.

avoid gas forming food, that lessen the “burping” and pain as well.

observe if you’re having pain before you eat OR~ if pain will subside after you eat. (this way we can distinguish what kind of ulcer that might be. it’ll help doctors to rule out the problem faster too! =) )

don’t just press, tighten your stomach if you feel pain..or else it’ll trigger injuries further.

drink lots of water (since water is always a wonder drug!)

    hope this helps! =)
