Query by Tannya M: If Im not pregnant then WHY is this taking place!?

I had sex 13 days ago and lately my breasts have been quite tender and swollen and it has persisted. I suspected I was pregnant but nowadays I received my time period. I have not gone out and acquired a test but, and I know thats the only way to uncover out for positive. But why would this be taking place? I am a 15 year old girl, and I dont consider It would be some healthcare issue, and I dont think its the “soreness” from them even now developing since I havent had that for a 12 months or two and there would be no purpose for it occurring now. Please inform me why what this is/ and if u think I could be pregnant?

swollen tender breasts are also a symptom of PMS, so they almost certainly felt that way becuase you were about to commence your time period. i dont think you are pregnant, but if you have to test then go for it.

try to wait til your “period” i over. if you still feel the same then definitly get a test! yea it makes you bit nervous getting one, but it will be worth knowing in the end. good luck!

You actually can still “get your period”and still be pregnant- You need to check with a doctor asap. Keep yourself and your baby healthy and safe.

you could still be pregnant cause you can be pregnant and get your period it is rare though. your breast could be just swollen and tender cause your period is advancing and its a new symptom. i would get a hpt just to be sure thats not the reason. good luck. hope things work out for you.

Have you been having sex? The hormones make the breasts sore and tender. PMS makes women have symptoms similar to pregnancy.

Well, tender and swollen breasts are a normal pre-menstrual symptom, and it doesn’t have to happen every month. Could be you just are more aware since you had (I’m assuming unprotected) sex 2 weeks ago.

Well 1st you need to get serious and stop having sex at your age. I had a baby at 16 and struggled. Anyways it could be because your hormones and your period. Periods can be goofy and cause soreness in the breasts. I really think you need to wake up and smell the roses. Sex isnt what its all made out to be. Forget about the boys and worry about school. Take care adn good luck. If you ever have any other ?s just ask me or emial me. Kate

If you had a full normal period chances are good that you are not pregnant. Every month is different and symptoms aren’t always the same. Your body is still changing and will be for several more years so the unexpected does happen.

Breast pain can be normal for many reasons, such as PMS. Stop having sex. You’re a child, for goodness sake! There’s plenty of time for sex later.
