Query by carribean cruiser: I have a mild sore throat, clicking and an uneven feeling in my jaw, and ache in the left side of my neck.?

I am truly commencing to worry about throat cancer. Has anybody seasoned these symptoms before? It is been going on for at least a month now.

I suppose it all depends on whether these symptoms are linked. Clicking and uneven feeling the jaw are symptoms of a subluxing temporal mandibular joint (TMJ) – fairly common problem which can be caused by lax ligaments or damage to a disc in the TMJ – but unlikely this would be linked to a sore throat or pain in the neck. Did all symptoms come at the same time?

Could be getting a throat infection and the glands are up in the left side of your throat. Also, the jaw could be whats called “Secondary pain”, if got some right now in my stomach.

could be an infection tonsils perhaps if the jaw gets infected too it might give the clicking that you say you get from your jaw.try gargling with salt water to ease the soreness of your throat dont’ swallow it though and if it continues see the doctor.
