I recently had appendicitis, and I’m not sure if you have a mild case or what, but this is what happened to me.
At first it just felt like cramps and the pain kept accelerating every 30 mins. The pain was spread throughout my whole abdomin, but when I took a deep breath it stabbed at my right side.
The pain didn’t go away at all, it just kept getting worse, I wasnt able to eat or drink anything, I was barely walking. Now people say that happens within 24 hours, but all the pain rushed at me in a matter of hours, they had to rush me into surgery before it burst because, unlike others, I only had a few hours before it burst. Some people can take days before it bursts. But honestly I would go to a doctor or the ER, they can tell by blood test, if your white blood cell count is high, and also by a CAT Scan.

    Good Luck! 🙂

If you have no pain now it was not appendicitis. Also, pain is usually not the only symptom. Most of the time appendicitis is accompanied by loss of appetite and vomiting. I suspect you are not vomiting since you did not mention it.

Also appendicitis does not hurt in the hip. It hurts in the “right lower quadrant” or above the hip. And the pain is often referred to as “rebound pain” or if you were to press on the lower right side and you felt pain as you relieved pressure you might have appendicitis.

Again, if you are not hurting right now it’s not appendicitis. Pain from appendicitis does not just go away. It does not stop until your appendix is removed. So you’re pretty safe.

If the pain comes back and you are that worried about it I suggest seeing a doctor just so you can get some peace of mind. If you are not hurting now I would not go that far with it.

why are you scared if the pain went away?

if the pain is gone then you are fine.
it was probably just a strained muscle.
there is no reason go to see a dr or anything cuz you have no symptoms of any kind.
