Help! Sharp Knee Discomfort??!?
Query by : Assist! Sharp Knee Discomfort??!?
I have been going to a Chiropractor for three months. And she has me going twice a week. The cause becoming is due to my reduced back, and left knee. About three months ago i got a really terrible decrease back pain mainly on my reduce correct side and was not ready to go to sleep that evening and due to that i was obtaining a sharp pain on my left knee. I was not ready to run and not even capable to walk with out my knee hurting. I am 21 and don’t understand why i would be acquiring these issues this early in life? So the next day i began attending this chiropractor just before the 1st adjustment she explained that due to the fact my lower back was out of location (pelvis) and simply because of that it was placing strain on my left knee. Even prior to the first adjustment she was currently recommending to do a three-6month therapy!? I explained to her that im a runner and needed to function on my knee to get back to operating. She stated that for my left knee to heal we had to get my reduced back (pelvis) adjusted and treated. I have been getting cold laser treatment on my left knee each and every time i get adjusted. And till this day i still have that sharp discomfort on my knee. It goes away and comes back.. What confuses me is that she has by no means had an x-ray completed on me? And when i ask her she will keep saying that it will heal and that this could be a long time of damage and its not going to take this little sum of time to fix??? Every single time i test to describe myself i feel like she doesn’t have time to listen? Im in and out of the adjustment space in about 5minutes?! Ive seen that she try’s to get every person in and out ASAP! So ive had to do my analysis on my very own.. And from what i have identified i have asked her a couple of questions a single of them if i may well have a longer leg? She mentioned no? And not a single time has my pelvis stayed adjusted until my up coming visit? Thats only a couple days apart?! My “Remedy” is nearly more than and no x-rays, mri, nothing! I honestly do not know if she is waiting for the remedy to be over and advocate me yet another three month remedy?!!!? WHAT Ought to I DO NOW?..

chiropractors have their place. knee therapy is not one of them. go to an orthopedic surgeon. if you wish to continue running; i would seriously do this. x rays will not show soft tissue damage. i went to the family doc for knee pain. he put me on steroids for three days. it worked. he also referred me to an orthopedic surgeon if the pain returned. go directly to an orthopedic surgeon. you will not be sorry you did.

I believe chiropracty and cold laser therapy are both suspect in terms of the scientifically study results they produce for patients. Given your age and your activity of running, you may have damaged your knee and that has led to back pain or visa versa.
In any case, you need to understand that your lower limbs and lower back are all part of the same neuromuscular system. Damage to any one place sooner or later affects another place along that system as your body attempts to compensate for the damage.
My suggestion, stop seeing the chiropractor and see a sports medicine doc. On your own, I recommend the following:
1. Stop running for a bit and get your body healed.
2. After any activity, ice your knee for no more than 10 minutes at a time. More than that will actually be harmful.
3. Start taking the supplement glucosamine (the jury is out on whether it is effective, but there vare as many studies that says it is). Personnally it has helped me.
4. Go to AposTherapy and get your gait analyzed. http://www.apostherapy.com.sg
Here you will get a complete evaluation and a proactive treatment for both your back and knee. This will get you back on track for the long term and eventually get you back running.

Go and see an ordinary Medical Doctor to get a thorough diagnosis. The chiropractor won’t be able to give you the x-ray and MRI that you need.
Make sure you do this for your back and your knee to see whether one or both are injured. This way, you’ll figure out what problem you have.
If you have a bulging disk or other back injury, I recommend a product called the WHITEE patch. It will heal your injury quickly and completely depending on its severity.
If you have a knee injury. Either the WHITEE patch or a similar product called the FASTT patch will be able to help you. The WHITEE patch will help in the event of a arthritis or other cartilage injury, while the FASTT patch will help in the event of a ligament or tendon injury.

diabetes causes kidney pain which can create problems. avoid sugar and high amounts of carbohydrates. get tested, it’s the only way you will know.
