Stop Back Pain: End Chronic Back and Neck Pain

can reduce back troubles lead to knee pain?

Question by a deadly rope: can decrease back troubles result in knee pain?

ever because trying out the back physical exercise “the superman”, i’ve been dealing with a great deal of leg muscle and joint pain. the pain started the day after attempting out the exercise, and most of the leg pains have gone away more than the course of a month with the exception of knee troubles. the knee difficulties have truly worstened. signs and symptoms are occasional redness over knee, rarely stiffness, discomfort “behind” kneecap and close to the knee region, largely tendons. if i put my hands on them, i can also hear them make a creaking noise, even though ive possibly had this ahead of without noticing it. ive been going to a chiropractor and have seen some improvement. discomfort becomes a lot more consistent and stronger a few hours right after exercise.

is this just a situation of overworked knee, or did i do some thing significant to it? i about a month before experiencing leg pain i had started out doing sprint exercises.

sorry if its written poorly, im in a rush and can add info in necessary.
P.S. im 16!

  • Back problems don’t cause knee pain as such- but the things that cause the knee pain might also cause back problems.

It sounds to me like the exercise is damaging your knee, and maybe your back. You should see a doctor who knows sports-related injuries about this.

    Good luck!

  • if you had a back injury that went untreated then YES it CAN cause knee pain.
any injury that goes untreated can cause another problem (experience- ankle sprain cause knee, hip and back pain.)
it sounds like you have pulled and strained your knee.
if it is swollen elevate it above your heart.
alternate heat and ice in 30min intervals to releave pain.
stop exercising for 2 weeks minimum. to let it heal.
    go to a doctor.
take it easy when you start back . and always stretch before and after exercise. maybe ask your doctor about physical therapy it helped me a lot.
    feel better

  • your back can effect you knees too. i’m going through this now, and i’ve already had knee problems before though.

you should see a doctor to make sure you’re not doing damage, damage to your body that you could suffer for more in a few more years!!! BELIEVE ME!!!

also, are you stretching and warming up before and after your exercise routines? i hope you’re not still doing the “superman” one…also, riding a bike (stationary is good too) is one of the best ways to help the ‘creaking’ noise in your knees. this creaking is usually from roughness under the kneecap, but can come from the joint too.

go to a orthopedic doctor and get an exam to make sure!!!!!
