My wife is suffering from lower back pain for past 3 months still the pain persists. We had done aryurvedic treatment, but of no use. Then we went to a neurologist now having his medicines. But still the pain persists. The pain started after doing some cleaning work at the house for a long time. Can anybody suggest any good remedy or suggest some good doctors for treatment?

How should I adjust my saddle to prevent lower back pain?

Duct Tape Doc asked:

My road bike fit perfectly, except that the saddle wasn’t bottom friendly. Since I’ve installed a new saddle (which is great for my bottom) I’ve been getting lower back pain after about half an hour of riding. The change of seat is obviously the problem. What should I do? Move it forward, back? Tilt up or down (it’s level now). Higher? Lower?

Please don’t tell me to use a different seat, I have a variety of butt problems and this seat solves them all.

Why do I have pain in my right back side after drinking lots of water?

I have recently started drinking alot more water after a long period of not having drank as much as I should have. I go through this evey few months or so. After a few days of drinking water, I begin to feel pain in my right side, underneath my ribcage, more towards the back. I don’t know if it’s one of my kidneys or my liver or what. The pain can be pretty strong; it usually happens after I’ve consumed quite a bit of water (nothing too extreme, though), and sometimes lasts the better part of a day. Is it just one of my organs detoxing?

I usually get one about once a year for terrible pain in my lower hip/back when the weather gets cold. I got a shot for pain last Friday, ran a marathon (my first) on Saturday and now the pain is back. Should I tough through it or call the doctor?
